As Business Manager reporting to the Chairman of the consultancy, we led the conference and forum preparations which involved the following activities:

Organisation of confidential Board meetings between the parties including preparation of agenda, key documents and presentations.
Organisation of a Partners forum for key Partners and Board members of both companies as an introduction to the new joint business organisation.
Organisation of 10 conference and forum venues in London, Asia and the Middle East including hotel accommodation venues for all attendees (a tight budget was enforced).
Co-ordination of all conference marketing activity to Partners.
Communication of key conference information and voting lists to Partner attendees.
Development of a specific intranet website providing key information relating to the conference arrangements and objectives.
Assisting the Chairman in conference speech preparation.
Liaising with technicians to manage the set-up of technical conference aspects.
Attending and hosting all conferences/forums.
Co-ordinating food and beverage requirements for each event.
Complete organisation of registration and timing schedules for whole event.
Co-ordination of all staff and support involved.
Managing security risks/marketing for media.providing troubleshooting support on conference issues and queries.
